Terms of Use (summary)

Effective August 2026 · This page summarizes the standing terms shown across the WorkpaperIQ site. The complete, binding terms for any engagement are governed by the services agreement between WorkpaperIQ and your firm.

1. What WorkpaperIQ is — and is not

WorkpaperIQ is a consulting support tool. It analyzes audit workpapers and offers recommendations to assist the engagement team. It does not perform an audit or review, provide assurance or any attest service, and does not issue audit opinions or conclusions. Nothing it produces is audit evidence.

2. Professional judgment stays with the firm

All audit work, professional judgment, and workpaper decisions remain solely with your firm. WorkpaperIQ output is AI-generated, may contain errors, and is not a substitute for the firm's own procedures or professional judgment.

3. No regulatory outcomes are promised

Use of WorkpaperIQ does not guarantee any regulatory or inspection outcome — and no tool can or should promise one. Outcomes depend on your audit work.

4. Acceptable use

Access codes are issued per firm and per role; keep them within your firm. The service may not be used to misrepresent AI output as human audit work, or in violation of your professional obligations.

5. Fees

Workpaper analysis is priced per engagement based on complexity, set out in the services agreement. Demo sessions are free.
